Isar Aerospace’s 28-meter Spectrum rocket reached low-Earth orbit after launching from Andøya Spaceport in Norway on 5 September, marking the first orbital launch from continental Europe and the first European fully commercial launch vehicle to reach orbit.[1][3] The second Spectrum flight carried six commercial and educational CubeSats plus an in-orbit technology experiment and made Isar the first provider to satisfy the orbital-launch milestone of the European Launcher Challenge.[1]
